Better leaders. Better teams. Better business.

When leaders and managers understand themselves and each other, the whole business speaks one shared language. That means better communication, collaboration and engagement. And that leads to efficiency, effectiveness and productivity, for each person, each team and the business as a whole.

Working with Greg didn’t just help me perform better in my role. It changed how I saw my potential as a leader.Tim Wilkins, Director, Emerson Asia Pacific

Emotional intelligence: a core skill of good leadership

IQ is how well you think. Emotional intelligence, or EQ, is how well you understand and manage yourself and the people around you. In leading and managing people, EQ makes a real difference, every day.

The good news: EQ can be developed. Like any skill, it grows with practice over time.

Four steps: Know yourself. Manage yourself. Know others. Manage others.

DISC: one of the tools we use to build it

DISC is one of many tools that help leaders and managers build emotional intelligence. We use it because it is simple, practical and widely known, so it is easy to remember and use at work. Knowing your own profile helps you manage how you behave in different situations. Knowing the profiles of your colleagues helps you adapt to their styles to get the best from them, and helps them adapt to your style to get the best from you.
